Preventing food loss & food waste is paramount to the SAPZ facility running efficiently.

With around 1/3 of food produced globally is either lost or wasted.
The inefficiency of resources devoted to food production and distribution – in land, water, fertilizer and fuel costs, as well as in greenhouse gases produced – has deep implications for the environment and the ability of the food sector to operate sustainably.
